About Lisa Yount
As an artist I am a magician, transformer, and guide to other worlds. Using AI art programs, Adobe Photoshop, and other software, I combine images from a variety of sources to reveal secret places within and beyond our everyday surroundings. A favorite recent pastime is exploring the wildlife of exoplanets made visible through the telescope of my imagination. I was a writer (educational/nonfiction writer and poet) for most of my life, but beginning at age 50 (I am now 80) I revived a childhood dream of being an artist. My art has won prizes at local shows and has been exhibited (sometimes as one-woman shows) at Bay Area galleries and other venues, including several World Science Fiction Conventions.
