Drawing on images from the classic tarot card for the Moon, this photocollage suggests the mysterious world of the dark imagination and the Unconscious, from which our personalities arise and into which we must all dive if we wish to truly understand ourselves. The background is a desert landscape solarized in Photoshop.
About Lisa Yount
As an artist I am a magician, transformer, and guide to other worlds. Using AI art programs, Adobe Photoshop, and other software, I combine images from a variety of sources to reveal secret places within and beyond our everyday surroundings. A favorite recent pastime is exploring the wildlife of exoplanets made visible through the telescope of my imagination. I was a writer (educational/nonfiction writer and poet) for most of my life, but beginning at age 50 (I am now 80) I revived a childhood dream of being an artist.
